THE DEITY OF CHRIST

Rev.C.J.McKnight

Monday, September 29, 2003 (1)

THE PRE-CREATION POSITION OF CHRIST. True Deity is found only, in Jehovah, the true and living God. The Deity of Christ is in the manifestation of His glory. Before Jesus there was no God formed, or made of a substance which may be molded into shape. Isa. 43:10 As with all humanity, Christ was formed in the Womb of a human mother. Jesus, was so named before He was conceived in the womb of Mary. Not yet a human entity, He was declared to be Jesus, Joshua or Savior. Lk 2:21 As with all mankind, Jesus the man, was formed of God To become the one and only acceptable sacrifice for the redemption of man. Coming into this world, it is stated that Christ said, A body you have prepared for me. Heb. 10:5

HOW WILL WE DO

Rev.C.J.McKnight

9/11/01 will always be recorded as a day of infamy. A day when an unprecedented fear became a daily part of the life of multitudes. Suddenly, prayer became prevalent all over the nation, and rightly so.Confidence in the Lord will create calm and peace in the face of any adversity. Everyone is aware that things have changed. Life will never again be as free and as happy go lucky as before. Jesus spoke of the beginning of sorrows. Are we there? I think so.Not only do we need prayer but we need the WORD OF THE LORD to bolster our spirit and prepare us f
or the future. If the footmen have wearied us and caused us to faint, how will we contend with horses?

A NEW MAN

Rev.C.J.McKnight, Seattle

1 Pet. 1:23 Born of Royal seed. An eternal seed which is always living and enduring. The blood of cleansing, of purification.

1Jn.1:7 The light also cleanses. Our walk is that of purity. Cleansed from all sin. The water of cleansing.

CALLED

Rev.C.J McKnight

You have an appointment with the living God. He loves you and has called you unto Himself. He has designated you to be a saint.” Rom.1:7. The word saint (hagios) comes from the word (hagos – an awesome thing ). To be a true saint of the Lord is a high and glorious calling. The Lord is making a people out of the people who were not His people. They are called the children of the living God. Rom. 9:26. We are called into a very special fellowship of communion and communication with Jesus Christ. What a joy and privilege to know that we are included among the beloved.

THE ONE HUNDRED FORTY FOUR THOUSAND

A DISTINCT AND ELITE ASSEMBLAGE.

THEY ARE SERVANTS OF THE LORD. Serving Him in a very special capacity. They have been singled out for a ministry that others will not be able to perform. Rev. 7:3 As servants, they will be in close proximity, at all times, to their Lord and Master. One who would serve their master must be in His presence willing to follow Him wherever He goes. They who serve the Lord in this fashion will be greatly honored of the Father. John 12:26 The servants of the Lord must have been set free from sin in order to properly serve the Lord. Their fruit is that of holiness and their ultimate is eternal life with the Lord. Rom. 6:22 These who are chosen to fulfill the plan of the Lord will be the possessors of the righteousness and holiness of the Almighty, the servant will be identical to his master. Their protection and deliverance is assured. They are indeed < untouchable >. Isa. 54:17

EZEKIEL

Rev.C.J McKnight

5/25/09

1
Ezekiel is one of those to whom was given a prophetic name at the time of his birth. Having reached the age of priesthood, that is thirty years of age, He is called to the ministry of a prophet. Seeing that he was in captivity in Babylon, there was no temple or house of worship in which he could minister as a priest. His name indicated, that inasmuch as they were in servitude, the Lord was their only source of strength. Ezekiel means, God will strengthen, or God will prevail. Not only was he to prophesy under difficult conditions, he would be speaking to a rebellious people and nation, Israel. Eze. 2:3-5 The concluding statement of the third verse is certainly most prophetic and indeed is still in effect, even to the present time.

THE SON OF MAN

Rev.CJ McKNight

Sept.17, 2008.

1.
WHO IS THIS SON OF MAN? Jesus standing in the midst of a crowd which seemed to be questioning the validity of His claims in relationship to
the one who would be the Christ of God. It is interesting to note that the crowd spoke up. They were unified in their approach to Him. John 12:34 Jesus had given them a word of prophecy and glimpse into the future by indicating the kind of death He would die. John 12:32-33

JONAH

Rev.C.J McKnight

1.Dec.10, 2007.

INTRODUCTION. Jonah, meaning dove or pigeon. Old Testament names were often expressive of the nature of the person so named. He prophesied in the days of Jeroboam II. 2 Kings 14:25 The son of Amittai, meaning the truth of Jehovah. He originated from Gath-hepher, meaning, the wine press of the two wells, or the double portion. The double portion is indicative of revival, and Jonah most certainly was involved in one. There are two great experiences recorded in the book concerning his life and ministry. The Three day and three nights spent in the belly of the great fish and the repentance of a city. Both of which, are miraculous.
