THE DEITY OF CHRIST

THE FALSE LAMB. An item of great value will cause an imitation, a counterfeit. The true Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus Christ is of the greatest value. No object nor person compares to Him, in heaven or in earth. His worth is beyond comprehension or comparison. Small wonder then that there would arise a charlatan. A man, to whom the masses will take great heed, both Christians and non Christians. Those who do not possess a strong and deep knowledge of the Word of the Lord will be deceived. The individual who is without the gift of the Spirit, that is, discernment must rely entirely on the Word that they have laid up in their hearts, if they have not done so, they are going to be deceived. Jesus warned concerning these last day that there would come many using His name and claiming to be Christ. This deception we already have with us in the world. He also stated that many would be deceived. Mt. 24:4 The deceived, who are Christians are light, frivolous and totally undedicated to Christ. They seek a dollar story religion where they are fed on junk food. They gag at the depths of the Word and are completely unaware of its beauty, grace and revelation.

THE FAKE LAMB, THE FALSE PROPHET. He is second beast to appear. The word used in relationship to these two beasts who will emerge is the Greek word therion, a wild, dangerous, venomous animal. It was a venomous beast which attached itself to Paul. He simply shook it off into the fire suffering no ill effects. Acts 28:4-5 Paul used the word in Titus 1:12 in describing the people of Crete as being liars, evil beasts and lazy gluttons which is a good description of this false prophet. But note, he comes from the earth, he is then an earthling a human being. Most assuredly one who has wholly sold out to satan. Following the pattern established in the Word of the origin of the antichrist, this false prophet will likewise be a tremendous last day leader in the church and one in whom people have great confidence. Look at him, he looks like a lamb, every bit as much as the Lamb of God. The false prophet appears to be like a lamb. But there is a difference. Do you know what it is? Rev. 13:11 This false lamb has but two horns, while the Lamb of the Lord has seven [Fullness of power]. The true Lamb is seen as having seven eyes [Complete knowledge and insight of past present and future], the fulness of the Spirit. The true Lamb is a slain Lamb, the evidence, the witness of redeeming blood is with Him. Rev. 5:6 The voice, ah yes the voice, how important the voice. The Word of the Lord is His voice. It is a more sure Word of prophecy. If the prophetic utterance does not measure up to the Word, throw it out. 2 Pet. 1:19 The false lamb has the voice of the dragon [the devil]. It is the voice of the beast. If it speaks the Word it will be warped and twisted. We are acclimated today to listen to voices. Radio and TV form our opinions and invade our thoughts with all manner of propaganda. Today’s world is being prepared for the coming of the fake lamb. The true sheep hear the voice of the Lamb and follow Him. John 10:27 They read, they study His Word and so get to know His voice.
