WHITE, THE CLOTHING OF THE BRIDE. We get a glimpse of what is portrayed by this exquisite gown worn by the Bride of Christ, Rev.19:8 when we compare it to the clothing of the two men, two who are now witnesses, who stood by the tomb of the Lord Jesus. Their clothing is described as clothes that gleamed like lightning. There is much more to these fine linen garments than just the color white. Luke 24:4 NIV. Another most interesting event which took place at the empty tomb was the appearance of the angel of the Lord. He not only rolled the stone away from the entrance but sat on it, no doubt in triumph. The angel of the Lord is the Lord Jesus in angelic form. See the glory of the Lord that was upon Him. His face shone like lightning, while His garment was as white as the snow. Mt. 28:3 All those associated with the throne of the Lord will have become accustomed to living with the lightning glory of the Lord. Lightning’s proceed from the throne. We would expect that all who live in the presence of the throne will shine with the same glory. Don’t worry, the glory of the Lord is not lightning but appears as lightning and is unquestionably much more beautiful. Rev. 4:5

WHAT IS MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN BEING CLOTHED WITH THE SUN. That is, being filled and clothed with the light of the Almighty. The destiny of the righteous bride is to shine as the sun at the time of the wedding of our Lord Jesus Christ. Mt. 13:43 To put on Christ is to be clothed with the sun like glory of the Lord. for the LORD God is a sun. No sun or star could ever be God but He does outshine them all. The light bearing heavenly bodies should never, ever be worshipped. Ps. 84:11 When the bride has fully put on Christ she will be wearing the sun of righteousness. Beautifully and marvelously clothed. How greatly and intensely the Lord Jesus is desirous of a bride which is totally consecrated and dedicated to Him. Mal. 4:2 The wise, those whose actions are prudent and spiritually intelligent will shine forth with the brilliancy of the heavens. Those who turn others to righteousness and themselves are righteous will shine forth as the stars. Surely the Lord will reveal His glory in His people. Dan. 12:3 The beauty, the glory of that perfect church is illustrated in the poetic language of Solomon. She will rise suddenly to the status of a bride. Like the brilliant dawning of a new day, after the gross darkness of the night. She is beautiful beyond description, as pure and white as the moon. As clear, as pure, beloved and completely empty of self. Glowing, as bright as the sun for she is a sun clothed woman. The evidence of the scriptures plainly shows that the most gorgeous, the most majestic bride is that which will be the Bride of Christ. She is like a great army unfurling and waving their banners. Awesome and fearsome. A bride, yet ever on the alert knowing that there is yet an engagement, a battle that must be fought. Song 6:10 This is a bride, an army which will not be defeated. They will march in perfect unison, as one body, ever triumphant, ever victorious.
