The scriptures plainly show that behind the intricacies of all that has been created there has to be a Divine intelligence. In the beginning God. Gen. 1:1 From the macrocosm to the microcosm, everything has its order and continues to function as it was designed. If all that exists came from gases, or a big bang, where did the gases come from or what went bang? Among the multitude of modern day conveniences from the airplane to the zipper, where is there something that just happened? All have been created by individuals who had an idea and followed through. The vessel, the channel through whom the creation of all things was wrought was the Lord Jesus, who at that time, in the Spirit, was the Word. John 1:1.
Not only was the Word the companion of God, but He is God. John 1:1.
Totally, completely, fully, absolutely God. Coequal with the Father and the Spirit. “Who, being in very nature God.” Phil. 2:6 NIV That Spiritual being, who bore the name Word, became a man that through the Word the Lord God might be known to mankind. He was manifest to the world and at the same time was introducing them to the Father and promised to send them a very special Comforter, the Holy Spirit. John 15:26 He is the architect, the designer, the originator of all of creation. Nothing was brought into existence without His involvement. John 1:3.
How deep is His involvement in creation? Paul said ALL things. That covers the heavens and the earth, both and all that is within them is because of Him. The seen and the unseen are the work of His hands. All political powers are in force, because they are going to do what He wants, that His ultimate goal might be achieved.
Col. 1:17 He supersedes all and is before all things. Furthermore, the order of the universe, the way of life on earth are all maintained in their proper sequence by Him. He is that force, the power, which causes the universe to continue its trajectory. They consist or adhere together, each in its place and purpose. In the universe, in heaven and on earth all remain in their proper consistency through Him.
All things which form the universe and its contents, time and eternity proceeded from Him. He is the source of all that is material and Spiritual. He is the means, the way through whom and by whom all was brought forth into being. They all relate to Him and to His everlasting joy and pleasure. Eternal glory will be to the Lord Jesus because of His tremendous sacrifice in providing salvation for the whosoever will. Rom. 11:36.
