THE LORD SPOKE TO THE FATHERS. The Lord always chose His own way and time to communicate with them. He repeatedly spoke to them over a period of thirty-six hundred years and then went silent for four hundred years for they were without out a prophet because of their spiritual condition. His method of conversation was of a variety, from signs and wonders, on one occasion a donkey, orally, by dreams, visions and through the prophets. The Lord was never slack in letting His will be known. Now in these last days, the last two thousand years of time. The last two days, the end of which He will establish His kingdom on earth. Now, to those living in the last of the last two days it is imperative that we hear His voice. That is the voice of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the voice of the Lord to this world. What He has to say has been recorded in His Word. It contains the revelation of who and what constitutes the person of the Lord. There is no question but what the Lord is much greater than He has revealed Himself to be in His Word. When we have come to a full understanding of Him as He is seen in the Word then He will be able to reveal Himself in His fullness. So far, we have only begun to discover all that there is to know about the Lord, regardless of how many years we have studied His Word and how much we may think we know about Him. The most knowledgeable among us are yet babes when measured wit His intelligence and knowledge. Heb. 1:1-2
THE MAN WHOM HE HAS APPOINTED TO BE THE HEIR OF ALL THINGS. The only man who has ever walked on this earth who is worthy of such a high and worthy possession. One cannot become an heir until the possessor of the goods has died. The Father never dies, nevertheless it is the Fathers intent that all of His wealth and possessions become the inheritance of the Son. Heb. 1:2 So immense is the love of the Father that He has given all things into the hand of His Son. John 3:35 The Father has placed all things in under Jesus feet, there is nothing that is not brought in subjection to Him. Heb. 2:8 Consequently, if we have been truly born of the Spirit and have become Children of the Most High we too are made to be heirs of the Lord and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. All that He is we are to become. All that His Father is we are to inherit. Rom. 8:17 In the amazing formula and determination of the Lord His people are destined to be completely filled with all the might and glory of the Lord from the time of the perfecting of the church and throughout eternity. As heirs we are foreordained to be the recipients of the brightness of His glory. Heb. 1:3 A church, a woman, a bride who in these last days will shine as the sun for she will not only be clothed with the intense glory of the Lord but is to be filled with that same glory. His glory and brightness is not only to be received as clothing but is to be revealed within that glorious church. Rev. 12:1 Remember we are His heirs and are to be joint heirs with Him. All that He is, we too are to be. What a future is ours.
