THE PLANTING OF THE LORD

Rev.C.Joe McKnight

MY FATHER IS THE HUSBANDMAN.
Jn 15:1
A husbandman is one who tills the ground, plants it, waters it and watches it grow until the harvest time. Then the joy of his labors are fulfilled. It seems strange placing the FATHER in the position of one working the soil. His work is a hands on situation. From the beginning, He has been fully involved and will be until His Divine plan is accomplished.

THE BOOK OF REVELATION

Rev.C.Joe McKnight, Seattle

WHAT IT IS NOT. It is not the revelation of John the Apostle. John was merely the vessel privileged to receive the revelation. Note that John refers to himself as a servant. Rev.1:1 To John was given the responsibility of sharing the message of the Word and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Rev. 1:2 John was the scribe, used of God, to relay the message of the last days to the church of the Lord. Rev. 1:4 John proclaimed himself to be a brother in Christ. One who, with many others, had suffered persecution and incarceration for Christ. He was not exiled because of some wicked act he had committed, but because of his faith in the Lord Jesus and the Word of God. Rev. 1:9 John was a spiritual man. One who lived for the Lord. Certainly his experience on the Lord’s day was not unusual for him only this was to be an unusual day, a day of revelation and unfolding.

THE BOOK OF RUTH

Rev.Clyde Joe McKnight
Seattle

The book of Ruth is one of the historical books of the Bible. However it is not a book of cold historical facts but is alive with the tragedies of life, romance, true and virtuous love, the leading of the Lord and the grace and mercy of the Lord. The title of the book points to the main character of the book, Ruth the Moabites. It is a marvelous story of redemption. The ultimate purpose of the majestic plan of salvation is portrayed in the book of Ruth.

PSALM FORTY-FIVE

Rev. C.J.McKnight

April – June 2002

A PSALM WRITTEN TO CELEBRATE THE KINGS MARRIAGE. It is composed more in a prophetic vein than in reference to an earthly king. The marriage of Christ and His bride are most certainly the theme that is found in its verses. It was addressed to the Chief Musician upon Shoshannim. Shuwshan {Heb}, translated lilies {from its whiteness, or purity} or trumpets, both of which are of rich significance.

P S A L M 1 9

Rev.Clyde Joe McKnight

Monday, February 23, 2004 (1)THE LORD SPEAKS IN A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE. David, the wondrous King of Israel. Chosen as a shepherd lad to be king. The Lord sought Himself a man after His own heart and found him in David. 1 Sam. 13:14 He will do everything I want him to do. Acts 13:22 David is a type of the Lord Jesus, who is the Word incarnate. It is David who penned the prophetic and romantic words of Psalm Nineteen. He would focus our attention on the heavens above, on the assure blue of the day and the star lit night. Not only to behold the beauty of it but to hear its message. The heavens above us are emitting a constant message of the splendor and the glory of the Lord. Ps. 19:1 Scientist have receivers focused of the heavens trying to find if there are others like us out there trying to contact us, but they are entirely missing the message. The only communication coming from the vast universe surrounding us is one that exalts the Lord and tells of His majesty.

MESSIANIC PROPHECIES IN ISAIAH

Rev.C.Joe McKnight

The name Isaiah means, Jehovah is savior or Jehovah Savior. The book of Isaiah is known as the New Testament in the Old. It is filled with prophetic utterances that reach down to the end time. It is an exciting book, because of the insight it gives to many of the events in the life of Christ. It reveals the ultimate plan and purpose of the Lord for the Church and the tremendous wonders that bring us to the second coming of Christ.
