FROM ETERNITY, CHRIST JESUS IS GOD. There is nothing about the Lord Jesus which is not unique. He is the first God, shaped and formed in the womb of a woman. There never had been such an act of creation nor will there ever be a God formed in such a manner, again. Isa. 43:10 This makes Jesus to be one of a kind. Truly, the first and the last. Rev. 1:17 Take notice of the fact that He has the right and ability to say, I am He. The only true God. He is acknowledged as being with His Father, the LORD, the King of Israel, prior to His formation and birth. The Son, is the one appointed to become the redeemer, the LORD of hosts. Aside from Him, there is no God. Isa. 44:7 Again, through Isaiah, the Lord asked this question, Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God. I know not any.” The very one who is eternity itself and inhabits eternity, knows of none like unto Himself, and most definitely it is so, there is none like Him. Isa. 44:8
THE HOLY ONE OF GOD. Words of truth expressed by a man with an unclean spirit. The revelation of the HOLY ONE was made among men, not by the religious leaders of that day but by those possessed of false spirits. Mark. 1:24, Lk. 4:34 This Holy One, is identified as the LORD, and furthermore as the King of Israel, the very creator of the people and the nation of Israel. The one who called them and brought them into existence. Isa. 43:15 This people were to become a sinful nation, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters and have forsaken the LORD. They were grossly backsliden. Even the Holy One was to lose patience with them and be moved to anger. Isa. 1:4 What a portrayal of the nation of Israel at the time of their visitation, the ministry of the Lord Jesus. Rejection can only result in judgment. The law of the LORD was to be cast aside and they were to despise the word of the Holy One. Isa. 5:24 The root and blossom of the nation, its foundation and strength. Its flower and beauty to be destroyed because of their rejection of the Holy One. How completely fulfilled is the prophecy of Isaiah as reiterated by Peter in the Temple on the day of the healing of the lame man. Acts 3:13-15 The eternal Holy One became one like us that He might make us to be in His eternal holiness, likeness and being.

THE ETERNAL EVERLASTING WORD. Prior to His birth Jesus is known as the Word, the Logos. When the spoken Word is expressed it is the unseen thought. As the living Word, He is the very expression of the Living God. In the beginning was the Word. John 1:1 The Word did not come into existence at the beginning, but when the beginning arrived, the Word was already there. Before the earth, the mountains, the seas, the Word already was in being. Ps. 90:2 The same expression is used in Gen. 1:1 The Word present and preceding the creation of the universe. Creation was by the word and breath of His mouth. Ps. 33:6 His preeminence over all of creation is confirmed by the Apostle Paul. For by Him ALL things were created both things earthly and heavenly. Things which are easily seen, the universe, the universe, as well as those which are invisible, the microscopic, the imperceptible. What a broad spectrum of creation that covers. Whether we agree or disagree with the political powers of the world they are in their current positions by His Divine appointment. Kings, ruling by succession, or dominions, ruling by force. They are and will be used for His own purposes. He is supreme above all things. By Him all things consist and are held in their place or orbit. He is the adhering factor that maintains the status quo, on earth and in the universe surrounding us. Col. 1:16-17. Most assuredly He is all in all. Nothing exists today but what His Word of creation brought it into existence. John 1:3 He is the source of all life. He is also the source of all light. While man does not recognize the fact, man could not even have natural life in this world without Him. John 1:4
A PRAYER FOR A RETURN OF THE ETERNAL GLORY. Only eternity will reveal to us the greatness of the glory which the Son of God laid aside for the redemption of mankind. It would appear that from the moment in the eternity past that the plan of salvation was conceived by the Lord, that the Word laid aside His glory. Note the statement, before the world was. John 17:5 Then we find in the book of Revelation that the Lamb, the Lord Jesus, was slain, from the foundation of the world. Rev. 13:8 In the mind and thought of the Lord God, Calvary was an accomplished fact. The Word would impregnate a virgin and she would bring forth the Word made flesh. Whose destiny was death, burial and resurrection all with the determination that this would be the perfect plan of salvation. Incorporated in His plan was the redemption of those who would respond to the call of the Word and the Spirit. Because He is God He has absolute foreknowledge. Knowing the end from the beginning. Completely understanding all things that are not yet done. Isa. 46:10 He wrote the names of those who would respond, in the Lambs book of life. Rev. 13:8 There is a warning of the possibility of a name being removed. Rev. 3:5 The cause is directed at those who would remove words from the book of this prophecy. Those who would eliminate portions of the word and would detract from its meaning and fulfillment. Rev. 22:19
