THE LAMB HAS THE POWER AND AUTHORITY TO OPEN THE SEALS. Consider very carefully the First Seal. John was called upon to behold an extremely important event. A white horse with a rider. Rev. 6:2 The color white, is the Greek word leukos and is seen as something that is bright,
shining or light. The clothing of the Lord Jesus became as white as the light. Mat. 17:2Â Now, who do you suppose the angel of the Lord was? He
came from heaven. He rolled the stone away from the opening of the tomb. Then, conqueror that He was, He sat on it. His appearance was like the
flashing of lightning. His clothing was as white [Leukos] as snow. Just white or was it scintillating? Mt. 28:2-3 Concerning colors, NATURAL.
These were five: white, black, red, yellow and green. WHITE. This term embraces the relatively as well as the absolute white. In the full sense of
the word the rays of the sun and those proceeding from a body raised to white heat are white, because all colors of the spectrum are united in
them. Ungers Bible Dictionary.
WHITE IS CONSISTENTLY USED AS A GODLY SYMBOL. Especially so, in the book of Revelation. The Lord Jesus is seen as possessing hair that is
like wool, as white [Leukos] as snow. Rev. 1:14 The person who is victorious will be granted a white [Luekos] stone, a stone of light, the stone of a conqueror, with his new name written upon it. Rev. 2:17 They who maintain a life of purity will walk with the Lord, clothed in the white garments of those who are victorious. Rev. 3:4-5 The occupants of the twenty-four thrones which surround the throne of the Lord are all clothed in white [Luekos] garments. Rev. 4:4 We must remember that these garments are not just simply the color white but they are garments of light and glory. The tribulation Christians who will die as martyrs are to be
clothed in the same manner. This shows us that there will be some Christians who are not delivered at the beginning of the tribulation and will enter into it, suffering the consequences. They are seen here in Rev. 6 :11 The multitudes of the redeemed which will gather before the throne of the Lord will all be dressed in white. Rev. 7:9 To seal the matter of the clothing of the saints we turn to Rev. 19:8 The Bride will be clothed in the glorious light and glory of the Lord, pure, white, scintillating, and brightly shining. The vast army of the Lord will likewise be clothed in the same manner. Rev. 19:14 What an awesome sight to behold the masses of heaven, regardless of their position all arrayed in the brilliantly shining garment of the glory of the eternal Lord. That which Adam and Eve lost in the garden
of Eden will be totally restored to the residents of that eternal country of heaven, and the glorious city of the New Jerusalem. The whole pattern of the scriptures portray for us the Lord of heaven, who is light. His followers who have all been made into beings of light. That which will be is to be of greater magnitude in brilliancy than any of the created suns of the universe. What we have seen in country, city and saints is the real light. All being filled and reflecting the eternal glory of the Lord Himself.
