LAST DAY REVIVAL AS SEEN IN ISAIAH

THE SOLUTION. Isa. 6:6 A seraphim ministered to Isaiah. We see  that the seraphim minister to Isaiah in the forgiveness and cleansing  from sin. A live, burning coal upon his lips brought sanctification. It was so hot that it was removed from the altar with tongs. Yet it was laid upon the lips of Isaiah. Matt. 3:11 Jesus shall baptize with the Holy Ghost AND FIRE.
Tongues are vital as a sign of the inward work of grace. But more importantly is the fire. The fire cleanses, it sanctifies, it purges, it sets the individual on fire for the Lord. The fire and the anointing of the Spirit are synonymous. The fire produces a zeal for the Lord.

HE LAID HIS HAND UPON MY MOUTH. Isa. 6:7 The laying on of hands signifying the impartation of a gift or power. In this case it was the fire of the Lord. Jer. 1:9 In the case of Jerimiah it is very plainly placing the Word of the Lord in his mouth so that he would become the mouth piece or prophet of God. Isa. 2:11 The Lord would touch our lips in this day that once again the powerful, true Word of the Lord might be declared.

THE REMOVAL OF THAT WHICH IS SUPERFLUOUS. Isa. 6:7 Iniquity completely removed. Iniquity, Heb. perversity, or moral evil. The weeding out of those unnecessary faults and failures of the flesh. The things that keep the church from participating in the fullness of the blessing of he Lord. Sin purged, exterminated completely from the body of believers. 2 Tim. 2:21 Purging is vital for the preparation of the Bride. The old man must die. The carnal nature must be eradicated from the person who would be a vessel of honor before the Lord. These are Spiritual facts that are easily determined by the study of the WORD. We not only must know them but they must become the very center of our Spiritual life.

NOW HEAR! Isa. 44:1 Exactly to whom is this word of the Lord directed? To Jacob and Israel after the flesh, the natural seed? Ps. 81:11 An indictment against them. They would not hear His voice. They paid no heed to Him. Therefore The Lord gave them up to do their own thing. They continued in their own ways and disregarded the Lord of Glory. The regret of the Lord is expressed, by the words; Oh that my people had hearkened unto me. And had walked in MY ways. While these words are directed to natural Israel, they most certainly apply to spiritual Israel or the church of the first born. The desires of the Lord have never changed toward His people. He is still looking for those who will hear his voice and walk
according to His ways as they are made known throughout the Word of God.
