OUT FROM THE THRONE PROCEED, lightening, thunders and voices. Rev. 4:5 The visible display of the glory of the LORD in heaven is majestic. Frightening to the natural man but to the spiritual man it is glorious and wonderful. This phenomenon that is evidenced in heaven will also be manifest on the earth. Rev. 8:5 There will be world wide manifestations of lightening, thunder, voices and an earthquake. By the time that we arrive at this point of the history of man these happenings will no longer be localized but worldwide.
THIS WILL TAKE PLACE at the opening of the SEVENTH SEAL. v.1. It is here that we are introduced to the seven trumpets. Which are the trumpets that precede the Second Coming of Christ. The last trumpet will sound, heralding His appearing. The seventh trumpet of this series is the LAST TRUMPET. During the time of the sounding of the last trumpet the final judgments of God will be upon the earth. Please note, in the DAYS of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall BEGIN to sound. Rev.10:7 There is a time element measured in days, at the time of the sounding of the seventh trumpet. I would expect these vial events to last no more than a week, one a day. During this period of time the catastrophes which are found in the pouring out of the contents of the seven vials, found in Revelation sixteen will be perpetrated on the inhabitants of the earth.
THE SEVENTH ANGEL SOUNDED proclaiming the everlasting kingdom of the Lord our Christ. Rev. 11:15 The TEMPLE is opened in heaven. This is the time of the entering in of all the redeemed of all ages. His Temple is completed, it is now opened for worship. Rev. 11:19 The context of his chapter manifests the final judgments of God on the earth. Not the least of which will be the fourfold judgments plus an outpouring of hail or blocks of ice falling from the sky that weigh up to one hundred twenty-five pounds.
THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON will take place at the time of the outpouring of the SEVENTH VIAL. Rev. 16:16-17. This battle is so one-sided that it can hardly be called a war. The forces of the Lord are mighty and overwhelming to such a degree that it will be over in a split second. Here again we find the manifestation of the fourfold judgment. This time the earthquake will completely altar the topography of the earth. There is no possibility that the appearance of this present earth will continue the same on into the Millennial reign of Christ. EVERY ISLAND FLED AWAY, THE MOUNTAINS WERE NOT FOUND. Rev. 16:20 The earth will really shake and be altered at His coming. Jeremiah saw the earth returning to its former condition. Jer. 4:23-25 Without form and void. The Second Coming of Christ is not a casual event.
IN THE MIDST OF THE THRONE. Rev.5:6. In the midst of the throne, the very center. The Lamb is the heart of Heaven. All evolves around Him. He is the great Potentate. Standing in life, yet bearing the great sign of redemption, the slain Lamb, the slaughtered sacrifice. The witness and testimony of the blood of Jesus will be an eternal witness to His redemptive act, The preciousness of the blood is determined by its exhalation to the highest place in time and eternity, in earth or heaven. The very throne of the Almighty. He is surrounded by the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders.
