THE BOOK OF REVELATION

THE LAMB, THE MERCY SEAT. Jn. 1:29 He alone has the capability of removing the guilt and condemnation of sin from the heart of mankind. Rom. 3:25 God has declared Christ to be the propitiation {mercyseat} for those who have faith in His blood. Both present and past. Those under the law were redeemed by the once for all sacrifice of our Lord Jesus. Lev. 17:11 Only the blood of Christ Jesus is efficacious for cleansing from sin and blood is only for atonement and forgiveness of sin. There is no other spiritual accomplishment wrought by His blood. Mt. 16:17 If you want to resist the devil, or cast him out by all means do what Jesus said. Do it in His name. He has left His Name, and the authority, of that Name, to His church, to be used for His glory. 1 Jn. 4:10 His propitiation is the manifestation of His love for human kind. Rest assured, He loves you.

THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF THE LAMB. Rev. 5:6 The Lamb possessing seven horns, completeness of power and authority to rule and reign. Col. 1:9 The pleasure of His Father was to invest all power and might in His son the Lord Jesus Christ. Col. 2:9 Even the fullness of the Godhead is abiding in Him. The only human, physical body that God has is the body of the Lord Jesus. As the Holy Spirit comes to fill and dwell with us without losing His Person or identity, so the completeness of God is in Christ. Mt. 2:18 All POWER, not only on earth but in heaven as well, was relegated to Jesus. Seven is the number of divine completeness or fullness. Jesus is the power of God to meet the need and necessity of ever man who will call upon His name. Not only did He have seven horns but He also possessed seven eyes. Stated as being the seven Spirits of God. Seven Spirits is translated Seven Fold in some Bibles. It gives us a better understanding of the purpose of the word. Again is speaking of fullness or completeness. The Spirit indwells Christ in full measure permitting Him to work the Works of His Father. The eyes, the ability to see and comprehend situations visible and invisible. Both spiritual and natural. 2 Chr. 16:9 The eyes of the Lord are given personality and the ability to assist those whose hearts are perfect toward God. Zech. 3:9 The stone, the Lord Jesus, the chief corner stone, the rejected stone, the stone with seven eyes. Complete perfect knowledge of the will and purposes of the Almighty and fulfilling those things appointed to Him. In one day, by one act the iniquity of all ages was atoned for and removed. Truly He is the power of God unto salvation. There is salvation in no other name but that of the Lord Jesus Christ. God, has given Him a name that is above all names that are named, that at His name every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ, IS LORD!

THE THRONE AND THE FOUR LIVING ONES. Rev. 4:6 These are the same beings that we have seen in Ezekiel. They are living creatures. The word beast is an unfortunate translation. Beast. Hebrew, zoon – a living thing or an animal. Man is an animal in as much as we are warm blooded and have a soul. We have already noted that they are four men who were prominent and spiritual leaders in their dispensation. They have access to the heart or midst of the throne and also are around and about the throne. This would indicate that they are very active and are performing a service before the Lord. v.7 Their order given here is more compatible to their rank. The lion, Jesus. The ox, Moses. The man, Enoch. The eagle, Elijah.
