PSALM FORTY-FIVE

HE HATED UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. He utterly despised and hated iniquity, so much so, that He was willing to die to eliminate all ungodliness from existence, eternally. Those who worked iniquity in His day, Jesus rebuked and commanded that they go away from Him. Lk. 13:27 Destruction is the destiny of those who work works of unrighteousness and wickedness. They will be cut off from the land. Ps. 101:8 All whose lives are an abomination or are liars will be excluded from the New Jerusalem. Rev. 21:27 The Word of the Lord is very pointed and plain, easily understood, when the statement of the Lord is that He finds no pleasure in wickedness, nor will the unrighteous ever dwell with Him. That excludes them from the Millennium. Ps. 5:4 Note also that He hates those who do wickedly. v.5 Strong, strong words but true. Their eternal dwelling place will be with the devil and the fallen angels, that is, everlasting fire. Mt. 25:41 We are living in extremely serious days. The only certain future that we can find is in the Lord Jesus.

THEREFORE GOD, THY GOD. God has a God? In both instances the term God, is Elyohim and is in the plural. The first addressed as God is the Lord Jesus Christ, who is God manifest in human form. The second mentioned is the eternal everlasting God. The God who is a Triunity. Three in union. A blending together in perfect and consummate unity. The harmony the unifies the Godhead is revealed in the scriptures by WORD and SYMBOL. For example: The LORD (Jehovah) appeared to Abraham. Gen. 18:1 Three men stood by him. v.2 Abraham served them and called himself a servant. He recognized Deity. v.3-8 The Lord said, I will certainly return. I, expressing the unity of God. v.10 The personal pronoun is used once more, shall I reveal to Abraham. v.17 I will go down. v.21 Two of the three went down to Sodom. Gen. 19:1 Two of the Godhead have come into the world and have ministered, The Son, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit. One remained with Abraham and was addressed as Lord. Gen. 18:22 This is a clear example of the Godhead and ministry.

GOD WAS IN CHRIST. The Son, born of a virgin was to be named Emmanuel which in translation proclaimed that, God is with us. Mt.1:23 The message of the WORD is that God was in Christ. His ministry was to reconcile the world unto God. Only a being who has God like qualifications could perform such a glorious work. 2 Cor. 5:19 How undeniable was God in Christ is seen by the witness and testimony of the Lord Jesus when HE said; A blending together that is unequivocal and Divine. Each of whom, retains His identity, yet combined together to show forth their singleness of purpose. Jn. 14:10 Believe me, I AM in the Father and the Father is in me. v.11 His repetition of the statement is to emphasize the point that He is trying to make to them. The mystery of godliness is one of the great mysteries spoken of in the Word. < God was manifest in the flesh> that is appeared or showed Himself in the person of the Lord Jesus. 1 Tim. 3:16 The mystery is easily solved if we will embrace the volume of the book. That the Godhead is one yet a plurality is borne out in the statement of the LORD God. <The man is become as one of us>. The word <one> in the Hebrew is echad, it is translated united, alike, altogether. The emphases is on the joining together of the Godhead which is undivided completeness. God is one, unity. At the same time the plurality of the Godhead is seen when He said <one of US>. Gen. 3:22 The plurality of the Godhead is also to be noted in the creation of man. Gen. 1:26 Let US make man in OUR image and in OUR likeness. Obviously a Triunity, and so it continues throughout the Word of God. One, yet Three and the Three in One. Here is an example that we live with every day. When He created man He made him, in His likeness and constitution . We were created, physically, with the image and resemblance of very God Himself. ONE yet THREE, THREE yet ONE. For we are Spirit, soul and body. Triune in nature. The Lord will preserve the whole nature of the man who is born of the Spirit unto His coming, spirit, soul and body. 1 Thes. 5:23
