LAST DAY REVIVAL AS SEEN IN ISAIAH

THE GLORY OF THE LORD. That glory poured forth on the church of
His love. The church, is the apple of His eye. The joy and delight of His very
being. That glory is a visible and very real. Ex. 24:16 The glory of the Lord
rested on the mountain. v. 17 God called Moses to go up into that glory.
Ex. 34:29 When Moses descended from Sinai his body had absorbed that
glory and it shined with the effulgence of that marvelous light that is
the glory of the Lord. That glory can be and obviously is transmitted to
those who please the Lord. Mark 9:2 Jesus is our prime example. On the mount of transfiguration He went through a distinct change before His
disciples until even His clothing took on a different hue and begin to shine or
flash intently. It became exceedingly white {luke, light} A majestic display
of how the glory of God is displayed. Acts 6:15 Stephen was seen as a angel by
those who condemned his to death. Most certainly it was not his good
looks that they saw but the glory of the Almighty. Mt. 13:43 The righteous
will shine forth as the sun in the glorious kingdom of the Father. Rev. 1:16
Jesus in that kingdom will shine as the sun on a clear day, in the fullness of
its glory. There can be no darkness in the eternal kingdom of God for there
is no night there. Darkness could not exist in the overwhelming light of the
kingdom of light. Rev. 12:1 Then there is that beautiful work that will be
accomplished in the Bride of Christ where she is standing on light, clothed
with light and crowned with light as well as being filled with light. As our
Lord is, she is a creature of pure light. The mighty glory of the Lord will
shine forth from her even as light streams from our sun. He has made her
to be what He wanted her to be and she gladly sought to be like Him.

THE DARKNESS SHALL COVER THE EARTH. Isa. 60:2 The Hebrew
word used sounds just like the day in which we are living. Chosek, darkness, figuratively, misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness. Any one of which can be greatly multiplied as a description amply fitting the atmosphere of the world in which we live. Isa. 20:19-20 Those in darkness presenting a challenge for God to speed up His work. To finish it off, they do not believe that He is, or that there is an end to all this. While they twist and attempt to alter sin and iniquity, making unrighteousness to be righteousness, and so on, God pronounces His judgment upon them. This is darkness. Ps.112:4 As always, those who walk with the Lord find adversity to be a time of opportunity. In the midst of a troubling situation whether it be personal or international, there is light.  The Lord will care for His own.

DARKNESS is an application of judgment brought upon the ungodly.
Ex.10:21-23 The raised hand of Moses brought a deep darkness on Egypt because of their refusal to let them go. It was a darkness that could be felt a thick darkness. Truly that was the darkness of darkness. They were as good a blind for three days for they could not see one another and could not move about. That would have been exceedingly frightening. The marvel of all this is the fact that the children of Israel had light in their dwellings for this same period of time. Ex. 14:19-20 The angel of God and the pillar of cloud was a guide to Israel. when it moved, backward between the camp of Israel and the Egyptians it manifest its miracle working power. To Israel it was their light but to the Egyptians it was darkness. The things of the Lord are understood by those who are committed to Him and are led by Him. While those who do not know the Lord are left in total darkness and are amazed that people serve the Lord. Ex. 14:24-25 At the last watch of the night the Lord looked upon the Egyptians, through the cloud and caused confusion to come into their camp. He also removed the wheels from their chariots. What a most effective maneuver. The Lord knows how to fight our battles for us, if we would just let Him.
