TWENTY-FOUR ELDERS ON TWENTY-FOUR THRONES. Rev.4:4 Requirements regarding this Eldership. These are men who have followed Jesus. They will participate in the renewal or regeneration at the time of the Messianic Kingdom. They will partake in the government of that spiritual kingdom by judging or ruling spiritual Israel. Mt.19:28 These men are all Apostles chosen by the Lord to participate in eternal leadership. They were leaders here on earth and shall be leaders in the New Heavens and New Earth. The twelve Apostles of the Lamb are joined by the twelve Apostles of the Bride of Christ. They are seen as the twelve stars in the crown of the woman, the Bride of Christ. Rev.12:1 The Apostolic ministry was not just for the early church but has continued throughout the church age and will climax as Apostolic ministry leads the church to perfection. Eph. 4:11-12 There may have been violations of this portion of scripture but the fact remains that it is the word of God.
The elders are located in a circle around and about the throne of God. They are overcomers for they are clothed in white raiment which represents the righteousness of God manifest in His people. They are crowned with crowns of gold showing the purity of the Lord and the eternity of their position. They are crowned with life. Rev.4:4
Their subservience and submission, appreciation and worship to the Lord is found in Rev.4:10. Their crowns are laid at His feet. Their voices are raised in the great esteem that they feel for the Lord. Rev.4:11 They are found frequently on their faces before the Lord in worship unto Him. They are musical, for they have harps, obviously they know how to use them. In songs and anthems of praise to the Lord. They are also the custodians of a very precious commodity. The prayers for the saints which are stored in golden bowls as incense before the Lord Jesus. Be encouraged your prayers are not in vain. The are of great value and are retained in heaven. Rev.5:8 They worship, again on their faces, with the multitudes in heaven when the seven seals are opened. They sing a new song of adoration and exhalation to the Lamb. It is a song of the redeemed. Rev.5:14 They worship God and the Lamb at the sealing of the one hundred forty-four thousand. Rev.7:11 These are spiritual Israelites. If we are grafted in then we are the spiritual olive tree. Rom.11:17 The spiritual house. 1 Pet. 2:5They worship the Lord because of the righteous judgment of the great Babylon. The great harlot church is destroyed. The church of compromise. Worldly, sensual and filled with all manner of ungodliness. It can easily be seen as it amalgamates in our day.Rev.19:4
