MESSIANIC PROPHECIES IN ISAIAH

Mary declared her great joy in this mighty act of God of which she had been a participant. For the Mighty One has done great things for me–holy is his name. Luke 1:49 NIV. When the New Birth is accomplished in one, it is the work of the same Holy Spirit that came on Mary. We are born of the incorruptible seed, the ever living Word of God. Paul prayed for the Galatian church that Christ might be formed or fashioned in them. Gal. 4:19.

His name shall be called Immanuel,God with us. That the Prophecy might be fulfilled. Mat. 1:35 The right to be recognized and acknowledged as God is in his name. Paul said; There is no controversy, the mystery of Godlikeness is tremendous, God was manifest in the flesh. 1 Tim.3:16. This brought about a communication, a fellowship between God and man that continues to this day.  1 John 1:2-3. Eternal life from the Father has appeared. We have seen it, we have heard it. We have a true relationship with the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is the instrument through whom this companionship is made possible. Truly, Jesus is Immanuel, God with us.

Unto us a child born. Isa.9:6 Born unto God. Born unto man. Born unto Judah. Born unto Israel. Born to the nations of the world, to the whosoever. He is the salvation of God for all men. A child, most unique, for he was at one and the same time totally man and totally God. As a child he astonished the doctors of the Law with his knowledge and understanding of the scriptures, though only twelve.  Luke 2:46-47.

Unto us a Son is given. Isa. 9:6 The remarkable, wondrous love of God is displayed in the giving of His Son. He did not require others to give their son, but in His great mercy and love, He gave His only begotten son. Here is the manifestation of the love of the Lord inasmuch as he gave His Son to be our propitiation, the atoning sacrifice for all men everywhere. John 4:10. Without a proper sacrifice there is no salvation. The blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God has provided that perfect and absolute atonement. Without the shedding of blood there can be no one released and set free from the condemnation of sin. Sinners are reconciled to God by the death of His Son. Calvary was not an easy action for the Godhead. But love, the love of God compelled each person of the Godhead to fulfill all divine requirements. Only at the cross was there a separation between the Father and the Son. Jesus cried, my God, my God why have you forsaken me? Not only separated but forsaken, deserted, left alone. At that moment of time he tasted death for every man. He bore our sins, until He literally be came sin for us. What a sacrifice.
