SPIRITUAL IMPLEMENTS OF WAR. The rider of the white horse is in possession of a bow. The bow represents the Word of the Lord in the hands of the Holy Spirit, a very effective weapon. Hab. 3:9 The conviction of the Spirit and the Word is a very wonderful thing, for it leads us to repentance. Among the saved, who has not felt the piercing arrows of the Word striking deep within revealing the improprieties of our lives. Ps. 30:2
THE CROWN. Winners receive a crown. A prize, a symbol of honor. A badge of royal status. The crown indicates a person of high and noble standing. Before entering into battle He was presented with a crown. A sure sign that He would not know defeat.
HE WENT FORTH. Commissioned of the Son who promised that He would send another comforter, like Himself. One who would take the Spiritual Life giving things of Christ and make them known. Sent to abide forever. Jn. 14:16 How far did the Word spread in those days under the unction of the Spirit? According to the Apostle Paul it went into all the earth and the ends of the world. Rom. 10:18
CONQUERING AND TO CONQUER. Triumphantly, Triumphant. Victoriously, Victorious. Undefeatable and undefeated. This cannot be said of the antichrist, whom some believe this person to be. But wait, see, he is defeated by a group of saints. Even while he will be in the prime of his power and kingdom. These victorious people overcome, the beast, his image and his mark and the number of his name. How frustrating that will be for him. Always someone spoiling his plans. Rev. 15:2 Very obvious that he will not conquer these folks. This rider represents the last day outpouring of the Holy Ghost with the best and greatest yet to come.
THE DATES. All the dates that we will be considering are approximate. The times are in His hands. Signs and wonders will help us to acknowledge that circumstances and current conditions fit the occasion and fulfillment of the seals. Where exactly we are in the calendar of the Lord cannot be pin pointed. However, by observation and revelation in the Word we can tell the seasons. This is most certainly the season of the moving of the Spirit. It would appear that the year nineteen hundred would be a good date to consider, give or take a few years. We do know that beginning in the year nineteen o six there were exceptionally strong indications that the First Seal was indeed opened. The impact and authority of this seal will continue until the beginning of the tribulation period and not beyond that moment of time. Unfortunately, some stubborn saints, will go into the tribulation. Where they will be without the Holy Spirit and will either surrender to the antichrist or be killed. Be filled with the Spirit.
