The woman of Revelation twelve is clothed with the sun. As the sun is apparent in the heavens every day so is the Bible language concerning the clothing of this woman. The LORD God is a sun and shield. Ps.84:11 What better clothing could one ask for than very God Himself? We trust Him to be our protector every day and He is our shield. He also clothes the bride with His own glory. The scintillating, brilliant shining of the sun will be upon the woman. The fire, for our God is a consuming fire, of God will burn in her even as it burns in the sun. The LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. Isa.60:19 Thy sun shall never more go down. Isa. 60:20 The church is to be a the bride of Christ upon whom will be bestowed ALL the glowing glory of the Father.
The New Jerusalem, which is the true Holy City, is seen coming down out of heaven as a bride ADORNED for her husband. Rev.21:2 She is the most spectacular bride that has ever been or ever will be. She has gone from glory unto glory until she has reached the ultimate of the glory of God and looks like God, bears all His attributes and the completeness of His nature. She is glowing like the sun in the fullness of its shining forth. So great is the glory of God in her and upon her that there is no need of a sun for the New Jerusalem. For the Lamb is the light of that city. Rev.21:23.
The question is asked, who will dwell with everlasting fire and everlasting burnings? Isa. 33:14. The response is found in verse fifteen. Those who walk uprightly, those who speak uprightly in other words the righteous will dwell in the glorious presence of the God who is an everlasting fire. The one who baptizes with the Holy Ghost and fire. The fire of God is not hurtful but cleansing. His fire will purge out all impurities and make us fit to be in that beautiful bride. If you have been baptized with a baptism of fire, you know that the fire of God is pleasant. It brings joy and gladness. Make sure that you have been baptized in the Holy Ghost and FIRE. The fire is an imperative.
Cut off from the land of the living. Isa.53:8 Jesus at thirty-three was certainly, cut off, removed from life in the very prime of His life. To cut off, sounds so final. To bring to an end, and so the natural life of Christ was cut off. But this is not the end for Christ. This is the reason for which He came into the world. He must suffer and die for the redemption of all mankind. This was the door to His glory. Lk.24:26 His lot was now to be resurrected and glorified. It is fitting and proper for Him. The man Gabriel. Dan. 9:21 His name means, man of God, and truly he is. This angel is none other than the Holy Spirit in human form. Gabriel touched or laid hands on Daniel to impart wisdom and understanding of the end times. He is the teacher. Jesus said the Spirit would show us all things pertaining to Christ.
