The Lord had brought them into being for His own good pleasure for the explicit purpose of having a people who would manifest His praise. Isa. 43:21 Today, that which He anticipated accomplishing in Israel, He will demonstrate in His church for we are the product of His love. The result of redemption through His blood. Formed and fashioned according to His purpose. Demonstrating good works by walking in the pathway of the Lord. Eph. 2:10 Israel failed and lost the privilege of being the people, the chosen of the Lord because of their idolatry. Now He is developing a whole new people who will be obedient to Him. They are the product of His very own hands. Made to be a new creation, with a new purpose of life that they might fulfill the longing of His heart for a people who are wholly surrendered and dedicated to Him. They are evident by their manner of life and their desire to live in His presence. They continue His work on earth and walk in His footsteps manifesting the very life of Christ. Eph. 2:10.
Maker, Creator is a personal name which may only be applied to the Lord. In every act of creation, when reference is made to something which required thought and action, He is present. He is the intellect and has the skill to have created all things which are in existence today. From the beginning, it is God who made all things. Gen. 1:7 The automobiles, the electronics, the electricity, the phone systems all required intelligence and capability to bring them into existence. Nothing, but nothing just happens of itself. Every item in modern day life had an inventor and a manufacturer. From the universe, to man, to the smallest and the least significant, all have the signs of creation. They could not exist were it not for a Divine Intelligence who designed and molded all that is in existence today. The Lord has created all for His own good pleasure and that the sound of praise unto Him might be heard. Isa. 43:21.
The ultimate purpose of the Lord is that Christ might have a bride. Jesus was involved in all of creation. Amazingly, when He was in the world which He had created, the world did not know Him. John 1:3, 10 All that is in existence, and all that is to come has been created by Him and for Him. Col. 1:16 Their most serious offense in all of their actions is in forgetting their Maker, they have deserted the one to whom they were married. Their creator, was their husband. He had promised to take care of them and give them a land flowing with milk and honey. A land of great abundance. His requirement was simple and that would be that they acknowledge Him and follow the pattern of life which He had prepared for them. After all, He was the God of the whole earth and would bless them according to His promises. He was know to them as Jehovah or LORD. He was their redeemer and savior. He was the source of their life. Isa.54:5.
