As the sun rises. Hos. 6:3b NIV. His rising is fixed (Keil and Delitzsch) The time of the first visit of Christ to this earth was predetermined by the Lord, so His second coming is established. The Father knows the day and will send forth His Son once again. Mt. 24:36 In His first coming, at the time of His birth, he came in the fullness of time, or at the set time. Gal. 4:4 The birth of the Lord Jesus was the beginning of the visitation of the heavenly dayspring or the dawning of the day. Luke 1:78 It was to be a new day. The light of the world had come. John 8:12 A light to lighten the Gentiles, the manifest glory of Israel. Luke 2:32 The nature, the Spirit of the Lord is light, absolutely no darkness may be found in Him. 1 John 1:5 He came as the Sun of righteousness, bringing with Him the ministry of light and healing. Mal. 4:2.

He will return at the precise moment of the completion of the schedule of the Lord. There is nothing that any person can do to hurry or deter that day. The Lord is not waiting for conditions to be just right. When that set moment arrives, He will come. Paul called it the dispensation of the fullness of times. When all that the Lord had planned for this earth, prior to the second coming of the Lord Jesus, has reached its conclusion, then He will come. Times, Gr. Kairos, a set time or the arrival of the moment.Eph. 1:10.

His return will be with the greatest display of light ever seen. Not only will He lighten the atmosphere of the earth but He will be seen coming from the moment He leaves heaven. There will be a tremendous display of celestial light at His return. His coming will be a shining forth, like the flashing of lightening. He will come with both the light giving effect of lightning and with the speed of lightning, or light. Mt. 24:27 For as the lightning flashes out of one part of heaven and shines to the other, SO ALSO will be the Son of Man in His day. Luke 17:24 NKJV. The Lord will be seen over them. The flashing of His arrows is like lightening. The true, the full light of the Lord will be seen and cause great consternation in the hearts of men. The trumpet will be sounded. Zech. 9:14 The eyes of every person who has ever lived on the earth will see this tremendous display of light and the glory of His coming. Even those responsible for the physical act of crucifying Him. Rev. 1:7 How visible is His coming? How visible is a building on fire? He is coming in flaming fire to execute judgment on those who do not know Him and have absolutely no intention of obeying the gospel of the Lord Jesus.
2 Thess. 1:8 What a display of might and power His coming will be. The antichrist is to be consumed by the brilliancy of the coming of Christ. 2 Thess. 2:8 If he is to be destroyed by the coming of Christ, who comes first?
