June 23, 2003 (16)THE WOMAN RESCUED AND DELIVERED. The woman is led by the Lord to escape into a place designated as a wilderness, a desert, a solitary place. Separated and set apart from all that will occur in the world at this period of time. Rev. 12:1 Consider the glorious manner in which she is transported. She is given two wings, of a great eagle. Rev. 12:14 It is beautiful to see how the Lord repeats so many of His actions, in the church, as He first wrought them in Old Testament times. He spoke to Israel and declared that He brought them up, out of Egypt on eagles wings, or by the power of the Holy Spirit. Ex. 19:4 How many times have we quoted Isa. 40:31 in reference to some spiritual experience which has taken place in our lives? Most assuredly, this will be part of that which the Bride will undergoing as she is taken into her prepared place. This woman, at this moment of time, will fulfill one of the great prophecies proclaimed by the Lord Jesus when He said, this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world, then the end shall come. Mt. 24:14
THIS WOMAN IS THE MESSENGER OF THE GOOD NEWS. The ministry of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ has not been delegated to angels. It is the responsibility of the church to proclaim the Gospel to the entire world. Besides that, the word angel is very ambiguous in its interpretation, for it can mean a created angel, a messenger or a pastor, any one who brings spiritual tidings. Certainly, this angel flying in the heavens is the Bride being transported into her place and as she passes through the sky she is declaring the everlasting Gospel of Christ. Her message will be heard by, every nation, all kindred, every person alive on the earth and in every language spoken on the earth. In this manner we may be assured that the work of the preaching of the Gospel will be finished prior to the Second coming of the Lord Jesus. Rev. 14:7 The voice of the Bride will be with exceeding great force and volume. Very likely a fearsome sound. The voice of the Lord sounded like a trumpet to John on Patmos. Rev. 1:10 once again he heard that trumpet like voice calling to him. Rev. 4:1 If the deafening sound of the voice does not create fear in the hearts of the unsaved, the message delivered certainly will. The hour of His judgment has come. This will develop into a period of great trouble on the earth such as never had been nor ever shall be. Therefore they are urged to glorify the Lord and to worship Him. The inhabitants of the world are given a last moment opportunity to repent and turn to the Lord. It is significant that the mystery of iniquity is mentioned in conjunction with the removal of the Holy Sprit. For the wings of the great eagle are symbolic of the Holy Spirit, who will transport the Bride into her place. He will no longer be manifest anywhere in the world, but is with the Bride and will be found with the Bride alone. 2 Thess. 2:7 All restraint exercised by the presence of the Holy Spirit will then be removed, sin and the extremity of unrighteousness will prevail in the earth.
