THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST IN IASIAH

A CALL FOR A HEARING EAR. Hearken, give ear, listen (for a change), the Lord is about to speak words of great importance. This is a message for His nation, His people, the redeemed. Especially for those living now. Being under grace and not under law does not mean that we reject the righteousness of the law. After all it is the text book that the schoolmaster used to bring us to Christ. We are now to live under the law of faith. Rom. 3:27 The law of the Spirit of life found in Christ Jesus is likewise a directive which we honor. Rom. 8:2 We now follow after the perfect law of liberty. We are at liberty, set free from the law of sin and death. The liberty that we enjoy is because Christ has established His life in us. We live our lives according to His Word. James 1:25 We are doers of the Word and not hearers only. The law of liberty is the law whereby we will be judged. It is vital that we know it and live by it. James 2:12 The law to go forth from Zion (the perfected church). The Lord is teaching us His manner of life, it is necessary that we walk according to His standard. His WORD to be proclaimed in great power and might from Jerusalem (the NEW). Isa. 2:3

THE LIGHT OF JUDGMENT. The judgments of the Lord are right and just. Justice is now available to Jew and Gentile. Isa.51:4 The glorious light of the Good News is available to all who will hear the living Word. Judgment must begin in the house of the Lord. The Lord will finish His house and dedicate it in a blaze of glory. The glory of the latter house shall be greater than the former. Righteousness and salvation proffered by the Lord prior to the judgments that will be in the earth at His coming. He is the Lord of mercy but the rejection of that love and compassion will result
in the manifestation of His wrath. Isa. 51:6

THE ONLY STABLE ELEMENT IN THE UNIVERSE. Is the WORD of the Lord. Mt. 24:35 When all else is destroyed that eternal WORD will remain. The words of Peter in 2 Peter 3:10-12 were quoted from this chapter in Isaiah. They relate to the coming day of the Lord, when Jesus come as a THIEF in the night, in the which the heavens shall be disintegrated. It is worthy of note that the word, COMING, used in verse twelve is the Greek word, PAROUSIA or RAPTURE. Some may question the placing of these event at His coming, but Peter makes it very obvious. This occurrence is a theme that is repeated in both Old and New Testaments. Isa. 34:4Heb.1:11-12 Thus, adding credence to the timing of this event. It must also be noted in Isaiah fifty-one, six, that sinners will be destroyed from off the earth. There is no possibility of living past the mighty display of wrath and anger that is manifest when our Lord returns. Once again, today is the day of mercy and forgiveness. The door of salvation is yet open for the whosoever will. The Lord is inviting us into His arms.
