ABIDING LEAVES. How very essential they are to the continuation of the life of the tree. Through the process of photosynthesis (Meaning, putting together with light), the food chain of life is maintained. All animal life, including man, eat of the plants produced by this process. It is a continual circle of life. The sun, the source of light. The Father. The leaves, source of the production of the nutrients, the church. The root, The Son, providing strength and the constant storage and supply of the food produced. Only divine intelligence could have conceived this process and then placed it into action. Eze. 47:12 The light used in photosynthesis is absorbed by a green pigment called chlorophyll. Each food-making cell in a plant leaf contains chlorophyll in small bodies called chloroplasts. In chloroplasts, light energy causes water drawn from the soil to split into molecules of hydrogen and oxygen. In a series of complicated steps, the hydrogen combines with carbon dioxide from the air, forming a simple sugar. Oxygen from the water molecules is given off in the process. From sugar together with nitrogen, sulfur, and phosphorus from the soil, green plants can make starch, fat, protein, vitamins, and other complex compounds essential for life. Photosynthesis provides the chemical energy needed to produce these compounds. * Essential for spiritual life is the message brought by the church, the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The process of photosynthesis also cleanses the air, therefore it is a natural purifier, created by the Lord. The analogy to the working of the Holy Spirit is self evident. Spirit, air and breath are the same words in both Hebrew (ruach) and Greek (pneuma). When such a complex process is produced, how is it possible to even begin to think that this just happened. It is like saying that no one made these homes we live in, the cars we drive, the radio and TV that we listen to and watch. Everything produced by man has required intelligence to manufacture it. How much more the creation of which we are a part, and in which we live. In the beginning God,†Elohym. All of nature brings us the same identical message, I WAS CREATED.
THE RIGHTEOUS ARE LIKE THE TREE PLANTED BY THE WATERS. They will never be without fruit nor will their leaves ever dry up and fall. They are constantly successful. Ps. 1:3 Note the change of gender from, male, the tree, to female, the leaf which shall always under all circumstances remain green. Jer. 17:8 This tree and its leaves produce fruit, even in its old age. Ps. 92:14 Like Abraham and Sarah were blessed with Isaac. The leaves are healthy and productive. The fruit will be healthy and strong.
