THE GOOD SEED IS GOD’S SEED

:38. The field identified as this earth. Suddenly we find that there are two seeds mingled together in the field. The children of the kingdom of God are likened to good seed for they have the same genetic source as their Savior. However, there is another seed evident in the planted field growing together with the good seed. This bad seed is called tares and is identified as being the children of the wicked one or Satan. It is a false wheat. While growing it looks like the real thing. When it reaches harvest its head is bowed whereas the real wheat stands straight with its head lifted up.

:39. This a parable touching the end of the age. It is important to the church that we understand it thoroughly. The circumstances of this story are being fulfilled today in our life time. The devil is the source of this evil and false seed. Unfortunately it is sown in the same area as the good seed. Because of this fact the angels will come to separate the good from the bad.

:40. There is to be a certain cleansing of the field of the Lord. While the tares are tolerated until harvest time the will be a definite time where they are harvested and separated from the good seed. While the field is the world we can also say that it is representative of the church. Both seeds are in evidence in the body of Christ. But that will not continue. There is a harvest time when the tremendous difference between these two seeds will be revealed and a division made. The tares are destined to be burned.

:41. The owner of the field, the Son of man will commission his angels to weed out of his field every thing that is offensive to him and that is contrary to his WORD. Likewise all those who would live in sin and do evil. There can be no doubt that we are living in harvest time. There will be a tangible cleansing wrought in the body of Christ. The cry of the Spirit is to come out from among them, and be separate. Totally dedicated to the Lord Jesus. Fulfilling his perfect will in every aspect of our spiritual life. Remember the Bride has made herself ready.

42: The furnace is representative of tribulation and trial. The Lord said to Israel: I have chosen you in a furnace of affliction. The furnace to Israel was a cleansing as the purification of silver or gold but for the tares it will be the suffering of the great tribulation period. A time of tremendous suffering for the inhabitants of the earth as the judgments of God are poured out upon the earth and the ungodly who inhabit the earth at that period. This is not the lake of fire. That will come at the appointed time. It is described as a time of wailing, i.e. of crying or lamenting. Gnashing of teeth, the grinding of teeth in pain and anger. This is to be a time of great anguish and grief in every conceivable way.

43: Then shall the righteous, filled with the glory of the Almighty, shine forth as the Sun. The same glory that was seen in Christ on the Mt of Transfiguration will be the wedding garment of his Bride. Rev. 12:1 She is clothed with the Sun. Sanctified, consecrated to the Lord she will bear His likeness in every way. Who is she? Appearing like the dawn (the coming of a new day, a new beginning, the Bride possessing resurrection life). Beautiful as the moon. Choice, clear, pure as the sun. As fearful as an army that is moving under its flags and is conspicuously marching to victory. SOS. 6:10 The comparison with Re. 12:1 is very obvious. The Bride will be clothed with the fullness of the glory of the Lord. He will have nothing less than a perfect Bride who is exactly what he is. All this will take place, IN THE END OF THE AGE!:END:
