The strength of being one body is found in love, The love of Christ manifesting itself in brotherly love. This is apparent when compassion and understanding is exercised by Christians. How far will love reach? Even to covering a multitude of sins. Placing others before ourselves. Fulfilling the new commandment established by none other than the Lord Jesus. A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another, as I have loved you. Jn.13:34.
If Christ, who is love personified, dwells in us, we will then love and respect others even as he loved us. The true sign of a disciple is the manifestation of love in their lives toward others.Rom.15:5
By the grace of the Lord his purpose is that those who follow Him be like-minded or of one mind. Live with a spirit of unity, of comradeship one with another. Dwelling in perfect rapport. 1Cor.2:16
We have the mind of Christ. What a challenge! If we have the mind of Christ we are then; one with the Lord. Fulfilling the Word of God is every aspect. We are one in the Spirit, walking in the Spirit, living in the Spirit, showing forth the fruit of the Spirit in our daily living. The mind of Christ would not speak one thing through one persons mouth and then contradict that word through the mouth of another person. 2 Cor. 13:11
The ultimate has been established and will be consummated in the perfect church, the Bride of Christ. There are no impossibilities with the Lord. That which He has declared in His Word will come to pass. He will have a perfect Bride. The choice is ours as to whether or not we are to become a part of that body.
