HIDE US FROM THE WRATH OF THE OCCUPANT OF THE THRONE. Hide us from the wrath of the Lamb. So incompatible, an angry Lamb, but so true. The day of salvation has passed. It is now time to pass judgment. The day of His indignation. The day of His vengeance has come. An excellent question. Who shall be able to stand? The answer is, none of the ungodly. This occurrence will take place prior to the millennium. At the time of the Second Coming of Christ. No sinner will make is past this dire moment. Rev. 6:16-17 Zephaniah portrayed that day as one horrendous day. Then he concluded his prophecy by stating that the land would be emptied. It is most certainly an apt description of that day to come. Zeph.1:14-18
UNDER AN OPENED SIXTH SEAL. When a seal is opened it does not necessitate an immediate fulfillment or climax. The substance of an opened seal could be spread over a period of time. The length of the time that the seals are in effect will be determined by the time of their opening or beginning and their conclusion or closing. Each one does not embrace a like or similar period of time. For example the first seal has been in execution for close to a century and will conclude at the beginning of the tribulation period, when the Holy Spirit will be removed. 2 Thes. 2:7 The sixth seal will be opened when the complete number of the martyrs has been reached. This period of time is called a <little season> and will embrace the whole of the tribulation. Rev. 6:11 Those who believe the testimony of the two witness as to Jesus being the Messiah will make up the full complement of those who gave their lives for their faith in the Messiah. The two witnesses are the last to be martyred. Together with all believers they will be caught up in the first resurrection. Rev. 11:12
WHAT SHALL BE THE SIGNS OF THY COMING? Mt. 24:3
THE FIRST SIGN JESUS MENTIONED IS; DECEPTION. Mt. 24:4 How prepared are we to recognize a deception or a deceptive spirit? John said; that we are not to be naive and receive every spirit but to first put them to the test, try them. If in his days MANY false prophets were loose and running around in the world. How much more in our day. 1 Jn. 4:1 The apex of deception is when an individual will portray themselves as Christ or a messiah. Jesus said MANY would come, even using His name and that MANY would be deceived. Mk. 13:5-6 In our day of fast and extensive means of mobility, how fitting are the words of Jesus when He said that they would say < Lo, here is Christ, or, lo, he is there>. It is worthwhile to note that the name Christ means the anointing or anointed one. To avoid being deceived maintain a deep spiritual life and measure all things by the WORD OF GOD.
