The recipient of the mark will be in complete subjection to the authority of that day, the antichrist. Rev. 13:16 All commercial activity, whether a mega business deal of a simple purchase at the store will be controlled and instantly recorded simply by exposing the mark to an electric eye which would identify the individual. The possibilities of the use of such a system seem endless. It would simplify life in many areas. No more lines at the airport, each individual immediately identified. No waiting at sports events or anywhere for anything.
HIS NAME OR HIS NUMBER. These are also a part of the sign that will be placed in the flesh of all. Jesus said that deceivers and false Christs would come in His name. Mark 13:6 This we already can see. Regarding the number of his name, 666, it is the number of a man who has sold out to the devil, body, soul and spirit. He is completely demon possessed. Many books have been written wherein the number was juggled until it was made to coincide with the name of world leaders. All have come and gone off the scene without any being the antichrist. Conjectures never fit. The simplicity of the Bible does. Rev. 13:17 Those who accept this sign will have come to a place of complete depravity. There will be no restraint against sin. No thought of what is right and just. This is the time of complete lawlessness. The Holy Spirit went with the Bride. He is he one who is now restraining unrighteousness. THE ONE GREAT DISADVANTAGE TO THE MARK. Those who accept the mark are to be refused any place in the Millennium or in the New Heavens and the New Earth. Their doom is sealed. They are eternally bared
from Heaven. The mark brings immediate and eternal damnation. By receiving the mark, name or number they have signified their worship of the antichrist. Rev. 14:9 They are warned of the impending horrible indignation of God. They will be the recipients of the full strength of the wrath of God. Consider what is in the cup of His wrath.
