“Prophecies Of True Zion In Iasiah”

PUT ON THY BEAUTIFUL GARMENTS.  Isa. 52:1 What a challenge. To be clothed with that which is attractive is the desire of every true Christian. How much more the Bride of Christ. The garments of the high priest were for beauty and glory. Ex.28:2 (NIV. dignity and honor). Their garments set them apart from all others in Israel. Especially as the Holy Anointing oil was poured upon them and their garments. We are kings and priests unto the Lord. How beautiful and glorious are the garments of the Bride of Christ. Her anointing beyond description. The dignity and honor of the Most High Himself will be manifest in the clothing of His Bride.

There is no garment that beautifies like that of the Christ life. One who has been baptized into Christ, has put on Christ. Gal. 3:27 Water baptism is a tomb where the old life is buried and the new life takes on a deeper meaning. We are raised with Him to walk in newness of life. It is in the initial stages of our walk with Christ that we put on the new man. A new creation with a strong desire to walk before the Lord in righteousness and true holiness. By the virtue of a new nature we follow those things that lead to a walk of purity before the Lord. The name Christ means anointing or the anointed one. We are privileged to be baptized in the Holy Spirit as well as in water. Into or being covered with the water and the Spirit is a must for the one who would be a child of God. Like a caterpillar in a cocoon we are enclosed by water and Spirit and so, begin to put on Christ and the robes of beauty and glory.

Isaiah found the garments of the Lord to be a source of great rejoicing. Isa. 61:10 He spoke of them as being the garments of salvation with which the Lord had clothed him. The foundational works of repentance, faith toward God, new birth, spirit and water baptism are all a part of creation of a spiritual life that is pleasing to the Lord. What we cannot produce on our own, He now gives to us in His robe of righteousness. We are empowered by His righteousness we have no righteousness of our own, ours is but filthy rags. His is perfect and absolute, complete and full. Obviously the thought that is in the heart of the Prophet is that of a Bridegroom and Bride. This then would relate to Christ, the Bridegroom and His Bride, the church. Her garments are perfect and glorious, for she is clothed with the SUN. Rev. 12:1
