THE MYSTERY OF ELECTRICITY. Electricity is a mysterious incomprehensible entity which is invisible and visible AT THE SAME TIME. It is both matter and energy. It is a mysterious force which looks like blue-white fire and yet cannot be seen. It moves forward at the speed of light… yet it vibrates in the AC cord without flowing forwards, It is totally weightless yet is has a small weight. When electricity flows through a light bulbs filament, it gets changed into light. Yet no electricity is ever used up by the light bulb, and every bit of it flows out of the filament and back down the other wire. W.J. Beaty Electrical Engineer.
THE MYSTERY OF GOD. Most anything which we do not understand becomes a mystery to us. Life is filled with mysteries. Not the least of which is the LORD. Electricity is a prime type of the being and existence of the Lord. While the person of the Lord is hidden, His book is open. He has approached mankind in every way possible to make Himself known to them. Who would know the secrets of electricity except man in his curiosity explored and researched such a matter. So with the Lord. Ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all of your heart. Jer. 29:13 The mystery of God is the revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ as His only begotten Son. Paul spoke of the full riches of complete understanding, There may be things about the elements of this world that are being discovered or remain a secret, but the Lord has given us a Word that reveals who and what He is. We need not be ignorant of the majesty of His person. All wisdom and knowledge is found in the Lord Jesus. Col. 2:2-3
VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE. No wonder electricity is both. It comes from the source of all energy and light, the Lord God Himself. Paul stated that the invisible things of Him are clearly seen being understood by the things which He has created. Rom. 1:20 Very deliberately and systematically the plan of the Lord was toward investing Himself in creation. He is very visible in electricity. He manifests Himself as light, yet light itself is invisible. However we see by light. Our eyes are virtually useless in darkness. He is a consuming fire. Heb. 12:29 He is constant. His very appearance is that of lightning. That blue white flash. His Spirit is inexhaustible. Flowing forth and filling the hungry with His power and light without being diminished in anyway. Moses dare leave Egypt as seeing Him who is invisible. He had confidence in the Lord because of His mighty works made manifest in delivering the people of the Lord. Heb. 11:27
