TO SEE OR NOT TO SEE. In order to see, there are two components necessary, an eye with which to see, and light. The eye can only function when there is light shining on and making the surrounding objects visible. The necessity of light is emphasized by the fact that the eye can only see when light is present. Light gains entrance to the eye through the transparent eye tissue. Then the eye transfers the light rays into electrical signals. Which in turn are transmitted to the brain where the brain deciphers them to be images. Light makes what would otherwise be invisible, visible. When something is so complex, how could it just have happened or evolved? What is the process of change that took place or is taking place? Only a Divine intelligence could design such a plan for the eye to function in such a manner. The seeing eye, the LORD hath made. Prov. 20:12
GOD IS LIGHT. Life and light are synonymous, for there can be no life without light. The very first action of the Lord in bringing about life on this earth was to create light, that is physical light. This He did on the very first day of creation. He also divide the light from the darkness, creating Day and Night and named them at the same time. Gen. 1:3-4 In the very beginning, God whose nature and being is light, took of his own essence and made a light fitting for this world. It is vital that we understand that God is light. 1 John 1:5 From eternity past, He is light, but light is not God. He has always been a person of light from whom an immense light emanated. It is His essence, His essential quality. Darkness is dispelled in His presence. The Father God is called the Father of lights. Light is in the plural, for all light originates from the Father. The light everlasting and eternal, which speaks of Himself. Then the natural, created light which is the source of all life for this world. Plus, the light of the world, [Spiritual light and life] the source of all abundant or eternal life. Only in the Lord do we find light and life.

THE FATHER OF LIGHTS. Every and all light is the gift of the Father. There is no greater giver nor greater gift than that which comes from the Father. It is precisely what this world needs. Both the natural light which maintains plant and animal life and the spiritual light which will bring about eternal life. The word in the Greek is, phos, meaning to give light. Expressing, light as seen by the eye. It can also mean to shine. It is, luminosity in the widest sense, figuratively, naturally, artificially or literally. In other words, without the Lord there can be no light of any kind. All light originates with Him. A scientific explanation is given, stating that, light is a luminous emanation, probably of force, which comes from certain heavenly bodies enabling the eye to see form and color. James 1:17
NO VARIABLENESS. Unchanging, invariably always the same. He has stated in His Word this particular fact of His nature. I am the LORD, I change not. Mal. 3:6a He is constantly accessible, regardless of the day of the week, or the hour of the day or night. He is there every moment of time for all who will call upon His name. He receives and
treats all alike. There is no shadow of turning with Him. No sun rise or sunset. No eclipse. The child of the Lord may approach Him boldly knowing with deep assurance that they will be received and heard. Heb. 4:15 He is constant and steadfast. Light is the only constant in the universe. It never changes. A constant in science is, any characteristic of a substance, numerically determined, that remains always the same under specific conditions such as gravitation, the velocity of light, electrical conductivity, etc. Of them all, light is the only true constant. It never changes. It is always the same. No wonder, for all light comes from the Lord. James 1:17c
THE GARMENT OF THE KING IS LIGHT. Light enfolding itself around and about Him creating a shining beautiful garment. Ps. 104:2 We are afforded a glimpse of the bright scintillating garb of the Lord on the Mount of Transfiguration. The Father appeared in a bright cloud, one that was brightly illuminated and full of light. There He spoke of His feelings toward His Son. Mt. 17:5 The raiment of Jesus was white and glistering, radiant or glistening. Luke 9:29 The face of the Lord Jesus was shining with sun like glory while His clothing became as white as the light. Mt. 17:2 NIV. Mark reports His clothing to be dazzling white, whiter than any bleach in the world could whiten them. He who is the light of the world stood before the disciples that day in full revelation of the glory of the light of the Almighty.
