Rev. 3:12 Likewise, His new name. Prior to His birth He was the Logos, the Word. Being born as a man, the Lord gave Him the name Jesus, savior. Then having anointed Him for service He received the full name of the Lord Jesus Christ, which revealed by name, who He was and what He was to this world. There is no greater name to be named among men than that glorious name of the Lord Jesus Christ and He will share that name with His Bride. Phil. 2:9-11

The purpose of the Lord in the preparation of a Bride for His Son is very plain in the scriptures. It is the ultimate, the consummation of the plan of salvation. Wondrous and marvelous works are yet to be accomplished in His church in the end of the age. He has reserved the best wine for the last.
ABRAM RECEIVED A VISITATION OF THE LORD. Abram had achieved the ripe old age of ninety-nine and the Lord chose to visit with him. His age is of interest, for the number nine is the number of the gifts and fruit of the Spirit. In this case there is a double nine, symbolizing the double portion or the full measure. The completeness. This was thirteen years after his fiasco with Hagar and the birth of Ishmael. Thirteen is the number of rebellion.
